Synopsis:
Snowpiercer is place in 2026, seven decades after the planet becomes a frozen wasteland, also follows the remnants of humankind who have taken refuge on a moving luxury train. Designed and constructed from the eccentric billionaire Mr. Wilford, the train is composed of 1,001 carriages and circles the world 2.7 times each year. The continuous movement of the train offers power and prevents the passengers from freezing also. Since the disaster, the train’s inhabitants has come to be rigidly divided by category, caught up in a radical struggle against the rigorously enforced social hierarchy and erratic allocation of limited funds. The show investigates issues of class war, social injustice, and the politics of success.
Snowpiercer is a American postwar dystopian thriller television drama series which premiered on TNT on May 17, 2020. It’s founded on either the 2013 picture of the exact same title, directed by Bong Joon-ho along with the 1982 French picture book Le Transperceneige, where the movie was adapted, by Jacques Lob, Benjamin Legrand and Jean-Marc Rochette.
